I dunno, I try and make my titles exciting.

And up close shot of that sugar nest. People were amazed by it and I was all "I just took hot sugar and poured it in cold water, guys, it's not rocket science".

I just took some very hot melted sugar and drizzled it into a bowl of cold water. It sets up instantly and gives these crazy patterns X3 It's one of my favorite techniques.

I actually took a spoonful of melted sugar and drizzled it into cold water. there was no pulling involved for this decoration.

Pulling sugar is a little more tricky, because you have to work with extremely hot sugar before it cools too much to work with.

Nice. I used to do something similar to the sugar nest, only with glass pipette tubes over a flame.
Mom preferred bringing me to the lab over leaving me with a babysitter.
